T Visa (Victims of Human Trafficking) Immigration Protection for Those Who Have Survived the Unthinkable

Survival takes extraordinary strength. You do not have to navigate the path forward alone.

Human trafficking is one of the most serious violations of human dignity, and the United States
immigration system has a dedicated pathway for survivors: the T visa. The T visa provides
immigration protection to victims of severe forms of trafficking who are present in the U.S. as a
result of trafficking, allowing survivors to remain in the country, access benefits, and eventually
pursue a green card.

At NeoVita Law Group, we approach T visa cases with the highest level of care, sensitivity, and
professionalism. We work closely with survivors to understand their experience, carefully
prepare their application, and advocate fiercely for the protection they deserve.

Why Choose NeoVita:

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who qualifies for a T visa?

Individuals who are or have been victims of a severe form of sex trafficking or labor trafficking, are present in the U.S. because of the trafficking, and comply with reasonable law enforcement requests, or are under 18.

Do I have to report the trafficking to police?

Adults are generally required to assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of trafficking, unless they are unable to do so due to physical or psychological trauma.

How many T visas are available each year?

Congress has set a cap of 5,000 principal T visas per fiscal year, though this cap has historically not been reached.

Can I work in the U.S. on a T visa?

Yes. T visa holders receive employment authorization as part of their status.

Can my family members get protection too?

Yes. Certain qualifying family members may be eligible for derivative T visa status depending
on your age and circumstances.
